PNP still needs the have the power and ground ran to the battery and down to the steps. The only thing that's plug and play is the ability to sense when the doors open and close. Other then that, you'll still need to run power wiring and the undermount lights.

The longest part was running the wires into the cab and into each door panel by far. Now under an hour for an installer seems very reasonable. The running of wires from battery to motors/lights was not bad at all, just make sure you run, connect, then zip tie. Either way, the PNP will be much easier.
