Favorites not showing on MyLink display

Hi - any help here? Mine is on the my link touchscreen. Instead of my favorites choices showing at the bottom of the screen, the only thing that shows are the backwards/play/forward symbols. Any idea how to return my favorites list?

I've been having the same problem. I can't find a solution anywhere. The only way to show them on the touchscreen is to push the options button on the bottom right and then the up arrow that shows up. This is very frustrating!!

slowly slide your finger up from the bottom of the screen. the favorites should pop up.

 

You can also customize the number of favorite rows shown by going into the settings. I cant recall which part it's at exactly. But you can have 5, 10, 15 and probably more show. Alternatively, you an slide side to side and show a whole new group of favorites. I'll see if I can make a short video on in a little bit and post it up.

I finally found a solution!!

First Fondupot, no mater what i did it wouldn't come up. I tried everything u mentioned and some and nothing worked. I sat on the phone with customer support for 2 hrs with no luck.. Thanks for the response.

 

Finally, I got mine working by going into the settings and restoring to default. I didn't pick the option to erase the user data. It took about half of a second to process and the only difference I noticed afterwards was my favorites were back like normal. The weird thing about all of this is that I never changed anything in the first place. It was working on my way home from lunch and then the next time I got in the vehicle it was gone.????. I restored mine last Thursday and it has been working ever since.

Will this fix the Favorites bar so that it will stay up all the time. That is what mine did when I picked it up from the dealer and about a week ago it stopped staying up. I have to hit the arrow and then after I pick a song it drops back down. It's annoying especially since I so very much enjoyed having it up all the time!

There is a TSB out for issues like this, prob need to take the truck into the dealer and have the HMI module updated. only bad is it takes about 2-3 hours to do the update. Symptoms include black screen when going from camera to radio, locking up and so on.

My truck was doing the same thing one day the favorites just disappeared. I went by the dealership today and they had no idea how to fix it. I tried the fix listed above and now it works fine. Thanks

I followed Lankyhank888 instructions and worked for me. It didn't delete anything, it put my bottom favorites bar back with all my favorites still in place.
