Driver side switch doesn't roll window up?

I searched to see if I could find an answer but didn't. Surely this has happened to someone, just never to me before. Why does it roll down, but not up? The pass side works fine. ???

Had problem with mine going down, but not up, or stopping half way. They ended up replacing the driver's switch. No further problems.

Hmm, I may have to try that. That shouldn't be too expensive either. I was hoping it wasn't a motor or something. Thanks.

my power window motor was bad, it was under warranty when it went, but it was expensive...hope its just the switch...

it was raining when mine broke....good luck

Yea, I hope it's not the motor. It always seems to go out at the worst times like you said, but luckily mine didn't. the pass side still works fine anyway. Oh well, I'll tinker aroun with it.

Sounds like the switch has bit the bullet.

I replaced one on a blazer a few months ago. Simple change, $50-$60 part. I would expect same from full size truck.

Wow, $50-$60 for a switch? Sounds like it's time to hit a junkyard for me.

Some stuff you want to get new, but something as small as that I can pick up for cheap from the salvage yard. ;) Thanks for lettin me know, otherwise I'd've probably went down and ordered one from the dealer not knowing/caring and ended up losing some bank on the deal.
