Future Plans

I have some future plans for my truck and seeing what kind of feedback I could get on them. I'll put them in a time frame and category.

Body/Appearance

- Lower 6in lift to 4in and remove body lift (2 months)

- Put 305/50/20 BFG At's or Terra Grapplers on with my 20x10 Fuel Kranks (2 months)

- Debage (2 months)

- White tow mirrors (2 months)

- HID headlight upgrade (maybe) (June/July)

- tinted windows (June/July)

Performance

- Supercharger :fingersx: (December)

As far as the supercharger goes, I am going to be saving all of my money from work this summer and put towards that. There's a magnacharger distributor in Watertown, SD (about 2 1/2 hours south) that I'm gonna have do it. I'll probably see if there's some transmission work they can do if I need it. This is the only thing I am not certain on when it will be done due to the oil fiasco I just had with my truck, but I've put on about 500 miles since adding oil and there has not been a change in oil level. Let me know what you guys think about the plan! I'm not sure on how the 4in lift and 32's will look, but my 7.25in lift and 33's look awesome to me so I think the 4in and 32's will look fine!

I personally like the look of 33's on a 4" lift. I wouldn't want to downsize. But if I had to put a lift on my truck it would be 4"

I don't really want to downsize either to be honest, but with the offset of the wheels I sadly don't think I have any other choice

I think it would look good too, but the 20x10's with my offset wouldn't work too well. I almost rub right now which is ridiculous I think

I got quoted $10,000 for supercharger, install, and dyno tune by a guy up here who does them. I then got quoted $8,000 for a turbo, install, and dyno tune by the same guy. Personally I would rather go with the turbo, but before I pull the trigger I wanna know if anyone has any ideas about if that's a pretty fair price or not? It's the only place I know of around here that'll do this work in a gas, everywhere else is almost strictly diesel. So I'm not sure if he's just inflating the price cause he can

That is way too much IMO. Most of the time a supercharger is $6k. Installing one is definitely not a $4k job either. I like superchargers better on a pickup because the boost is right there and you don't have to modify the exhaust. On the other hand your temps will be better with turbos. The bypass in modern superchargers means economy won't suffer on the highway either.

I know lots of people get dyno tunes. I would personally never go that way because drivability isn't that good from what I've heard. You don't know how good some random guy who happens to have a dyno is. I'm really happy with the drivability of my BlackBear tune. They have plenty of experience tuning supercharged trucks.

Yeah I was a little skeptical when he said $10k for the supercharger and install and then $8k for the turbo and install. I'm gonna call a place in Watertown, SD on Monday and see what they quote me. I know they do magnachargers, but I don't know about turbos. I was gonna go with then earlier but it's about a 10hr drive to get down there ha.

And as far as a dyno tune, I would probably have Justin retune everything anyway to be honest! Hahaha so I could probably tell the guy to not worry about that

Yeah Justin will make sure everything is right and get the tune sorted out so you don't damage anything.

The other reason I like superchargers is the sound. I love riding in my buddies GTP just for the warrrraaaahaaaah.

Superchargers sound awesome! If I go with that I've heard that the Maggie's are actually pretty easy to install. So I might be able to tackle that with my buddies. But something about a turbo is making me lean that way, I think it's just all the potential a turbo has

Debaging the truck this weekend, but wondering if guys think I should remove or leave the Denali badge!? I kind of like everyone knowing it's a Denali (just cause) but I'm for sure removing the trim and everything on the tailgate!

I would keep the Denali tag. If you want to, white it for something different but I would leave as it is.. Its a nice solid metal lettering and not the vinyl sticker..
