washing black vehicles

Is it safe to take black vehicles through car washes like miracle car wash and simonize? Not the cheap automatic ones where you insert a few backs and drive through, but the ones with attendants that rinse it then you drive through the wash and rinse cycle and then they dry it by hand? Reason I ask is I am considering getting a black truck and know I won't have time to wash it by hand every weekend and want to make sure if I take it to one of these places it would be safe and not cause significant scratching and swirling.

I'm on my third black truck. I've not had any issues with going through even Auto Bell washers. But I also wax with a high quality carnuba twice a year. Any off roaring, you'll need to prewash before the final wash, but I do that with any color IMHO

Eh depends on how picky you are. I rarely use an auto wash, but I haven't had an issue. But on a black truck you just look at it and it scratches, haha.

Maybe you should buy a white one. All my vehicles are black. But I wash them by hand at least once a week. And wax them 2 or 3 times a year. My wife's vehicles are white. Thats because I don't have time to wash and wax hers as often as mine. The white doesn't show the dirt or scratchers like black. Less work trying to keep a white vehicle looking nice.
