Remove cup holder center console?

How can i remove my front cup holders in a 2002 console without taking the console out. I've seen it done before. Does anyone have a diagram?

It wont post a picture. Its a 2002 floor console, so there is no middle seat

I have the 03-06 floor console. I may have to look up the 2002

If it looks like this place hand here, finger tips towards floor. Apply some pressure to push it back and up at the same time. Should pop out

Grab it with your hand and pull it upward....

Yes that is sufficient, thank you! I tried to pull on the cup holder to get it out and it wont come out still any recommendations on pulling it out?

I'm driving an 02 as well and have had my cup holder out many times (used to pack some heat down below it)....there is nothing holding it in there but maybe some syrup from a soda or two....you could always take the main compartment out of the console so you can get your hand up underneath the drink holder I suppose.
