Several people have done it in the Corvette forum. Go for it - you can always take it off if you don't like it.

I did on my camaro rims. Worked well but then I sold em for some ZL1 style rims

If you decide you want to remove it, if you spray wd-40 on it, it will literally just wipe off. I tested one of my wheels on my old truck and it stuck really well and I had a hard time peeling it off and the wd-40 did the trick.

Pepboys and Lowes carries them. Pepboys had far more color choices then Lowes did. They even had a rim painted three different colors to feel the texture to get an idea what it would be like. They have clear to make them gloss other wise they will look flat. I just heard about this product to be use for other things like the grill and bottom half of the truck. Never thought you could put them on the rim. I would be concerned with heat. But guess it's ok...

How durable is plasti dip on wheels? I want to do it to mine, just don't want to constantly have to touch it up or redo it
