How did the ride change if any once you added the RC 2.5 Suspension Leveling Kit? I have heard people say it makes the truck ride like crap. I am looking to do the same on my truck (2014 GMC Sierra 1500 All Terrain) as well. Any comments / info is appreciated. Did you install the kit yourself or have it done at a shop?

My all terrain rides great with my rough country kit. Did the rear blocks myself and have a shop do the front.

I agree you are never done with mods. I thought I was and this week I am adding a backup camera. I will be putting it in tomorrow. Had to purchase a new chrome cover for the tailgate handle (with camera cut out). Never stops.

Anyone that has added the RC 2.5 leveling kit, did you have to get the front end realigned after you had it installed? Are you experiencing any issues post lift?

it is a general rule to always have your rig aligned after a lift or level. You have changed the geometry of the suspension so you will have uneven wear on your tires guaranteed.

Pretty much exactly what I want to do to my 15' all terrain when it shows up. Looks great!

Any idea what your fender measurements are from ground to center wheel well front/back?

I'm also going to run the factory 20's, I'll probably stick with a Toyo A/T versus the M/T though... my truck see's 95% highway.

Any issues with tire rubbing?

2in. makes it perfectly level if you are not going to touch the back, if you are going to install the rear block then get the 2 1/2in. level.

2 1/2in. level rides perfectly fine, there are no issues at all, must have alignment afterwards. 2in. level makes it perfectly level, 2 1/2in. will be just a little nose high and is why most install 2in. block in rear.

 

The guys installing 3 and 3 1/2in. leveling kits are asking for problems and I fear they could have serious problems with front end breakage!

Any issues with rubbing after installing the 33x12.5 tires. I am looking at the exact same kit for my 2015 AT but cant decide on tires for my stock rims. I dont want rubbing issues like I had on my last truck.

Thanks for the info. Much appreciated. I bought the RC kit that has the 2.5" for the front and the 2" blocks for the rear to replace the existing 1" blocks I believe they are. This would make the truck ride level correct?
