Anyone Removed The Factory Pinstriping???

My truck spends all of the time outside, and as a result, the factory pinstriping is showing its' age. I'd think it could be removed with a heat gun like any other adhesive/decal, but this is obviously much more involved than any single sticker. Has anyone done this, out of necessity or by choice?

I took mine off about a year after i bought it. All i used was my finger and a clay bar to remove any residual adhesive

3m eraser wheel start at one and and it comes right off easiest job you can do

Yeah, dealers add this to jack up the price. It peels right off on a warm day. My dealer didn't put any of that crap on mine. I'll bet he sold you on the "paint and fabric protection" too. Invisible stuff he may not have even done, just to pad the price.

At least I actually had the Paint and Fab done when i sold it lol.......
