I am on my wife's truck, I'd say 5" minimum depending on how aggressive the side walls are and still may need to trim some. They look ok, but really need a wider wheel. Look in the lift thread for pictures.

What size lift do you have? I was looking into the RCX 5inch

that looks very sketchy... just going by looks and a little knowledge of physics it looks like it would not take much to roll that truck. truck is too tall with not a wide enough foot print.

It's very stable, I agree it looks too narrow, just hadn't figured out what wheel she likes yet or it would have a 10" wheel on it. It's been driven 3000+ miles like that and handles fine, even while towing a 18' steel car hauler trailer with a 3600lb truck on it. Now if you go driving like your in a Z06 of course it's going to be unstable, but out of 1000+ trucks I have lifted it's rides and drives VERY good. Just looks goofy...
