Mine blows the fuse whenever I plug something in, my phone, ipod, laptop, what a worthless pc. of s$%t plug, the fuse is on the passenger side of the dash and the panel is real hard to get off, I wont try it when its -30 out here. You would think that the plug would have an inverter with about 1000 watts. Needless to say, I bought an inverter to run my laptop.

Sounds like you have something wrong with it. You may have a short somewhere that only activates when you plug something in.

According to the manual its max 150 watts.

At 110V, that barely 1.5 amp current draw, so they most likely use a 2 amp or 5 amp fuse in the circuit.

That's pretty sad if you can't charge a laptop. I mean I understand not being able to run major equipment but why offer the plug if you can't do more than charge a phone in it? I guess I never realized how little 150 watts really is. I'm going to look closer at the random household items I use to get a better idea of the differences in wattages between items.
