Finally got a couple goodies on my truck. So far I've got an Airaid cai, MBRP exhaust, Mcgaughys 2/4 drop, topped off with a set of Foose 22's. It's really starting to come together.

5.3 or 4.3? Really like the look of the truck as-is, even with the black plastic up front. If it's a 5.3, would you mind posting a video of this exhaust? I've been eyeing it for awhile but can't find a good video of it on the 5.3.

I'm gonna paint the bumpers and that black piece under the grill, looks a lot better with the black on the grill imo. I've got the 5.3 I'll try to take a video of the exhaust, but I don't know how well my phone will represent the real sound. I absolutely love it. Nice and quiet cruising on the highway and at idle once the engine warms up its a nice low rumble, but when you put your foot in it it wakes up with a great sound without being obnoxious.

Sweet trucks everyone! Really like the blue trucks. I also really like the lowered 2wd trucks, makes me want to get my '88 on the fast track but I'm still saving pennies for an Ls3 for it.

I put these double wall, powder coated tips on Friday (will get welded soon) and I have an intake I'll probably install tomorrow.

I work at a GM dealer so I just grabbed a vin off a crew cab that had the same interior trim color as mine and ordered the parts off that.

The swap took about an hour and a half still working on getting a few of the USB ports to work but other then that it's fully functional.

It turned out perfect, it really does look factory !

I have always thought they should offer that when you buy a regular cab.

I had a 90 Silverado that had it from Chevrolet, but it was low back buckets seats...not these like today.

Just got mine last weekend, i'm still getting used to driving a truck but so far it handles great. Brand new 2016 silverado 1500 with the 5.3 v8 and the blackout package

I haven't opened up the throttle, but even keeping it under 2000 rpm you can feel the power, I love having a v8
