Front bumper alignment

So I was looking at my truck and noticed the front end looked kind of droopy. Then I realized the front bumper was about an inch off from side to side.

The service department tried to shoo me along and say they're all a little bit uneven. The service writer went to his manager and was told to compare it to trucks on the lot. After showing the service writer where the new trucks were to compare, (he didn't have a clue and tried comparing 2013 used models) it turned out there were no trucks that were nearly as bad. The manager then said to visit the body shop.

The body shop gladly looked at it, and said they would fix it right away under warranty.

Here's a before and after:

Just one more thing to check before diving away with the truck. I'm sure a lot dealers wouldn't have even bothered to fix it once you signed the papers.

That's a good looking truck, i don't really see a difference though.

Look at the gap between the bumper and the filler above the bumper just above the driver side fog light. It has more of a gap on the driver side than passenger side in the top picture.

Glad to see they fixed it like they should have.

Both of my Chevy's have been saggy on the driver side. They just loosen the bumper, adjust it, and tighten the bolts back up.

Here's two more pictures to compare. In the wheel well where the bumper meets the fender is most noticeable. The passenger side is tight while the driver side was an inch lower.

Gaudette, what kind of tires are you running? What size also? Nice truck.

They're general grabber at2 in LT275/65/18. So far I like them but they're throwing an unbelievable amount of rocks. I wouldn't recommend them if driving on gravel roads. I just put on larger mudflaps and it helped a bit but the pinging still makes me cringe. They very well may be coming off the next chance I get.

Bumper was crooked on my 2007.

Bumper is crooked on my 2014.

GM seems to have trouble mounting bumpers properly. I let it go on my 2007 but I think I'm going to get them to fix it on my 2014 at my next oil change.

Yeah. I was going to HIJACK with the same question.
