I would like to see a detailed write up / pictures on how you did this. I just want a good set of fog lights in the factory spot.... especially now we can hack and use with hi beams. Don't want light bars and all that junk.

Sure, I'll try and get pics up in a few days. Also if you're planning to run them with high beams, I'd suggest the LP530 Driving Lights instead of fogs, the brackets I made will work with either. In my opinion, the brights on these things need more help than the lows so if you're only adding one set of aftermarket lights that's where you can do the most good. I'll be adding a lightbar for that so I want the fogs to help when I'm forced to use the low beams.

Did you notice an improvement with the Putco headlights? Not that I'm complaining about the factory lights. I'm looking at doing the same thing as you did, with either Putco, VLED, or whoever comes recommended.

The fogs should be delivered tomorrow. The Putco headlights match the leds and are whiter but I saw no change in "brightness".

Color is a bit different but putco sells a headlight closer to the led 6000k.

Left is bright and fog and right is dim without fogs...they work great. Not HID but way brighter than stock.

So the putco bulbs you bought for the headlights didn't match the LED strips in the headlights?

They match the oem led strips but not the Putco led fogs. 4000k vs 6000k.
