97 GMC Sierra- Whats the Aux A and B for on the side of the fuse box?

Im wondering what that is for? And i havea head light problem.. When i have the light switch turned all the way only the high beams will turn on, no low beams(when i pull the high beam lever they turn on and off but its high beams or nothing..) .,. but the low beams will come on if i turn the switch back one but then the brights wont come on..
