Even with all the clunking seat problems Im still having, I had really started to enjoy my truck . I installed a 14 inch Magnaflow with duel turn downs before the rear end. I have only driven it around town and only use M5 and tow haul mode. Sounds mean as hell and no gear hunting and V4 drama. Lots of fun and thumbs up.

Well, took my first road trip from Chattanooga to Atlanta today. I swear I thought I was the Taliban running from a Blackhawk chopper in 6th gear when in V4. Yeah, before you start tearing me a new one. I knew better, but it just sounds so good when hitting on all eight. So it looks like I will risk my warranty for a good tune. So question is. Does anyone know of a reliable tuner in the Chattanooga area. I would rather have it tuned in shop so it can be dynoed and trans tuned to my liking. The closer the better. I might not be able to out run that chopper again Thanks in advance if anyone can help.

Just get a Blackbear tune. Everything done over the internets. Plus free updates. Send them an email and they will get you set up.

Blackbear is very popular on the GM truck and car forums. I have had them tune a 2002 Silverado, a 2008 Suburban and my current 2014 Sierra. They do great stuff.

I've used Blackbear before and would do so again. Stopped the oil consumption in my 07 Yukon XL with their tune. All I had them do was disable AFM. Worked like a charm.

I just found out Blackbear will be having an in person tune event in Atlanta on October 2nd. Cant wait. No more looking over my shoulder for that Blackhawk helicopter.

How do you like the tune on the 14? Is there a noticeable difference. Any difference in gas mileage? I had a BB Tune on my 08...contemplating doing one on my 14 now as well.

Its good. Not much difference in mileage. but definitely a noticeable increase in power. Still trying to dial in my transmission tune tho. Had BB re-tune it a few times. Still waiting on them to reply to a message from earlier this week for another update.

i did diablew tune and my truck is like driving a whole new vehicle. i'll never buy another part for a vehicle prior to having a custom tune done. lew had my truck done on a saturday night via email and retuned on a sunday for WOT adjustments. i couldn't imagine someone having the same turn around time and same quality.
