plow package

hey,my buddys getting ready to order a 1500 and he wants to get the plow prep pack. dealer says you cant get it with a 1500. that true? i saw them online. any help out there,thanks

Previous yrs it was only available on ext cabs not sure on the K2 body style

Plow prep is only on regular cabs. To the best of my knowledge this is you could get it on for the last generation too.

Chevy only recommends plowing with a regular cab. You can order the truck with the snow plow prep package with this model and some dealers also set up the trucks with the plows etc and have them ready for to go for the upcoming winter on the lot.
