General Lee 01 Posted March 5, 2003 Posted March 5, 2003 No, we aren't. I think old man winter is finished with VA for the season. I can guarantee only wet-stuff we'll see is rain from now til December. Sad really, I was hoping to get my DL & Truck before snow season ended. Now I'll just have to settle for leaving black marks with my donuts.

elboberino Posted March 5, 2003 Posted March 5, 2003 snowing as I type....it gets really annoying after a while cause it takes so dern long to scrape the ice off my windshield!
99silveradoz71 Posted March 5, 2003 Posted March 5, 2003 Well my soft/sloppy ski slope snow today could use a fresh coat, but the weather folk are saying a mixed bag of freezing rain, ice, rain, snow for the overnight/am, so we'll see. I'd like 1 last good slamming storm before winter's over...have to enjoy the new skis.
MadFish Posted March 5, 2003 Posted March 5, 2003 No, no snow. But we got some ice rain last night. So, now everything is covered in about 1/2 inch of ice
Dkalvin Posted March 5, 2003 Posted March 5, 2003 We got hit last night(Bolingbrook, about 30 miles south of Chicago). Looks like 5 inches, with drifts over a foot deep.
chevy4x4trucks Posted March 5, 2003 Posted March 5, 2003 Started last night around 4 or 5 p.m. and now it's almost 8 in the morning and it's still coming down. I'd say about 6" so far. Before this we've had no snow on the ground for more than a few hours all winter.
RyanbabZ71 Posted March 5, 2003 Author Posted March 5, 2003 Looks like 5 inches, with drifts over a foot deep. Id say we got about 8 inches and 1-1.5 ft drifts. I have 12inch drifts on my truck
BlueRado Posted March 5, 2003 Posted March 5, 2003 So far this AM, about 4" w/ minor drifting. Gonna be time soon to start motorvating that snow shovel.
RyanbabZ71 Posted March 5, 2003 Author Posted March 5, 2003 Gonna be time soon to start motorvating that snow shovel. screw that i fired up the snowblower
cowboy02 Posted March 5, 2003 Posted March 5, 2003 Hey bob, did boulder get dumped on like we did up here in Collins? You need to get yourself a garage then you don't have to scrape the snow/ice off the truck :thumb:
antig24 Posted March 5, 2003 Posted March 5, 2003 We got about 5 or 6 inches but it drifted up to a foot in some places.
