Been thinking about bolting on an AFE CAI on my 6.2 All Terrain...anyone try one of these out yet, or any CAI on a new 6.2 for that matter. I know all they do is make nose and look sweet, I just can't leave anything alone...

Just bolted on the AFE momentum and put about 80km on, not annoyingly noisy, just amplifies the engine noise a little. Truck really screams now paired with the exhaust. Feel a difference in the right foot and butt dyno for sure, feels like the terrible throttle lag in the. 6.2 is almost nonexistent now.

I did a Volant CAI and Gibson dual catback exhaust. I did the CAI a week before the exhaust and it seemed to be getting too much air. Then when I added the exhaust, it really woke up and everything seemed like it was working in unison. There's still a ton of throttle lag in these engines, but it is A LOT better than stock now. I also have a custom dyno tune. All of the mods added 50 HP and 50 ft./lbs. Torque. CAI & exhaust probably accounted for about half of that.
