Does this in any way leave a trace in the computer? Those who have it, have you had any issues? I'm interested in it because I'm thinking of putting a catback and don't want the dreaded helicopter sound

Just looked at it. That was from late last year, I wonder if the problems have been fixed

There are some folks from that thread who say they have not had issues and posts as recent as May 2014 with a link to more. I thought this would give you more info.

 

By the way, it does NOT leave a trace anywhere because it does not change the trucks software. Range explains this on their web site in the FAQ section. Also, they say those that have issues tend to be those with higher end trucks with a lot of options since these models send more data across the Canbus.

 

You might want to IIM Tbarn and Fondupot. I think they both have them.
