Hey guys,

Just got a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado crew cab 5'8" short box... Just wondering if anyone know if the box are roughly the same dimensions for fitment from my old 2011 GMC Sierra crew cab 5'8" (the topper/canopy on it is a Raider Nomad II)

Thanks for the help

I kept the tonneau cover from my 2013 and used it on my 2014. It doesn't fit as well as it did on the 2013, but it works for me. There must be a small difference in the bed configurations. Hope this helps.

it will be close, as the other posted did I to took the cover off of my 2010 and put it on my 2014. The bed is off by a 1/2" in both directions on the new bed.

So you own two trucks but zero tape measures? ;-) (sorry, couldn't help myself :))

Should had clarified better, just curious if the fitment (bodylines, curves where it meets the cab/back window, how the topper "sits" on 2011 or 2014 box RAILS)

Just curious if anyone has experience with those. As truck nowadays (IMHO) are purposely design just so people can't buy "standard white toppers" and make them fit (bodyline wise) or look right.

For topper canopy, at least for mine, the measurements will "sit" from a 2011 on a 2014, however, like I suspected the fit and finish isn't right. I need a topper for work, so I guess I'll trade in the old 2011 topper, hope they'll knock off a few hundred $$ towards a proper fitting 2014 fit/finish topper.

Im looking at picking up a contractor cap from a 2013 truck to go on my 2015. Short box also. If i get a used one, it saves me like $2000 lol. Is the difference something a guy could live with? Like it will not affect the function, or damage the cab being that close? I will likely do my own water proofing. Thanks for any info.

The dimensions are different! It will fit and work but not as intended...I am putting mine on tomorrow maybe a picture too! I mean I am not that much of computer genius etc! you get the drift...

After I bought my truck I figured meh I will just buy a canopy as there is lots on used sites. So I feel your pain none of them will fit properly and buying a new canopy was a royal pain in the behind. None of the manufacturers or distributors list the prices and it is hard to compare them without phoning and doing a lot of leg work. Honestly think it was harder to shop for the canopy than it was the truck.

Just wondering, how does it fit if you go from a 2014 to a 2011?
