XM Radio compatible with 2M/440?

My new tow vehicle ('03 Silverado 2500HD LT Duramax/Allison) came equippe with Bose XM Satellite radio.  In the literature it makes some vague warning about damage from radio transmitters.  I suspect this might just be some lawyers CYA boilerplate, but wonder if any of the gathered multitude have run XM radio and UHF/VHF ham radio in their vehicles?
