spark plug gap on K2 trucks

I usually use plugs that you can't gap (usually get Bosch Platinum 4s), but I've read that some people say that those don't perform as good as plugs with just 1 electrode that you adjust the gap.

 

The manual says .037-.043 for all of the engines. I would probably do the middle as someone suggested with .040. It probably depends on what fuel you use though. I can only assume one gap would be better for 87 while another gap would be best for E85.
