Congrats General.  It is a great feeling to know you have accomplished something that took so much dedication and work.  I know that is how I felt when I passed my Eagle board.

:thumb: Good job.

Congrats General.  Most will never know how much work goes into getting your Eagle.  The thing that surprised me was how many doors it opened afterwards.  A very big accomplishment in a young man's life -  :thumb:

I wish to add my congrats also.  And as atated, it opens a LOT of doors.  Earning Eagle says to people that you went above what others do, dedicated yourself to reaching a goal and succeeded in getting it.

Eagle - 1973

When I was going up for my STAR board of review, it was at a district board.  while I was sweating going in, a LIFE Scout was in for his Eagle board.  He came out very shaken.

We all asked him what was wrong and he said he failed.  The board would give him one more chance later that night but only if he could correctly answer the one question he missed that was taken directly from the Tenderfoot section.

He had the book open and was going through the Tenderfoot section and even as he was looking directly at the page with the answer on it, he was adament that his answer was correct.  He was in fact wrong.

What was the question you ask?

Here it is, lets see how many get it right. (as a committee member doing boards with my troop, we occasionally still get boys missing this one, especially if they transferred in from another troop).

How many Scout laws are there?

YES, and it took three of us to get him to understand the correct answer.  He walked back into the board rather sheepishly.

He was awarded his Eagle.

bummed.

    • New to this forum.  Also looking to tune a 6L80 and trying to work out all the issues in my transmission swap.  I have a 6.2 diesel (1983) and have removed the TH-400 and about to put in a 6L80 with a TCM-2600 interface and don't have a clue what I doing after that.  Did you (Leatherneck/RAV3) get your slip resolved? I too hate to spend that kind of money on a tuner that hopefully I will not need too many times although from what steelerdude15 added about the HP Tuner being great for diagnostics would be a plus.  I am also from WNC but below you in Columbus.  Any helo would be greatly appreciated.
    • Sounds like a smart reasonable person with common sense. Bill O’Riley never said he was just a journalist, by the way.
