To bad the Iphone doesn't even have wireless charging.

I am not knowledgeable on this. So the pic shows an I-phone and wife has a I-Phone 6 but I have Galaxy 5. So the cell has to have this ability first? Can you add it? Which ones can do this? Like I said... I am ignorant on this.....

 

looks like I would have to buy this cover for my S5, but I saw 1 on amazon for I-Phone 6 but it plugs into USB where S5 leaves it open?

you can buy a case with qi charger in it.

 

galaxy s5 you can order a qi cover on samsung.com and you can also buy a charging pad. i'd do this because i do use qi charging. just google wireless charging case or something of the sort.

I am planning on picking up the Droid Turbo today. Like it the Nexus 6 will also feature wireless charging.

 

I also believe that both phones will feature a 15 minute 8 hour charge if needed.

I am looking forward to them offering this. I just bought wireless cover for my Samsung Note_3 in anticipation of this feature. I was fortunate that Best Buy has it on clearance for $17.- and some change.

fyi wireless will not speed charge. it requires a 2a plug and charges at something like 750ma. the only way i know to do a speed charge is via microusb or usb3.0 cable.

Wireless is sweet, it's one of the those first world problems that's awesome when you have it but you can't think of why anyone would care about if you haven't tried it. Kind of like a heated steering wheel ;-)

 

To use the turbo charge mode you have to buy a special wall charger extra to use that feature, who knows how quickly that would blow the fuse to the truck outlet.

LOL, I just picked up the droid turbo, and was checking out the wireless chargers, wondering if I could fit it on my console somehow...
