Your truck should be coming from Flint Assembly. Not sure if anyone here works there but I am sure that if they tried taking pictures in a non-official manner they would get in serious trouble. This is their webpage:

At the very bottom right corner is a phone number. Call them and try to get to someone in PR/Customer Relations. It's a long shot but it never hurts to ask.

Would he know if it's being made there by the order number? I know it's supposed to made the week of nov 10th it's a regular cab

I highly doubt it they dont necessarily track vehicles going down the line.

What model did you order? Crewcabs aren't made in FT Wayne

Crew Cabs are all built in Flint. Double Cabs in Ft. Wayne. The rest are either built in Ft. Wayne or Mexico. I contacted Flint Assembly when I got my order number for my High Country Crew Cab. I was very fortunate as they invited me up and pulled my order to get it to the front of the line. Ordered the truck on 10/6/2014 - Built on 10/17/2014 - Delivered to my dealer on 10/27/14, 21 days after ordering.

I went and watched it get built and they wouldn't let me bring in my own camera. But they did have a PR person take pictures as it meandered through the plant. When we got there, it was an empty cab shell that was finished with welding in the body shop and painted in the paint shop. Basically right after the baking process and all the body panels being split up to head to their area for assembly. Got to follow the chassis through the chassis shop and see the Duramax assembly dropped in. The final trim line was probably the best as we were able to watch all the pieces come together then and sat in the truck as the engine was fired up for the first time. Rode in the truck right off the line and into the room for testing the drive system and cruise control. It was an AWESOME day...
