Putco direct replacement LED Fogs

The Putco LED Optic 360 P25001W bulbs are a direct replacement for the '07-'13 trucks. I'm impressed with them. Took all of 3 mins to replace

Uh-huh, so they look bright when you look at them head on...but do they actually work as fog lights or just for show?

These actually work much better than the yellowish dimmer OEM bulbs. I am happy.

This is just the fogs without any headlamps taken on a rural two lane road.

They look pretty useless as fog lights. Stock bulbs cast a better beam.

They "look" good, but are designed for "show" only. I'm in the middle of replacing mine with true LED kit they will give me 3000 lumens out of EACH bulb. Current ones are 750 each..

I can see the road better with them. That's all that matters to me. I also don't piss off every driver coming at me either..Whatever makes you sleep at night.

Maybe its the camera that you used in that night picture but they don't look that effective in terms of lighting. Sure they look to shoot a farther beam but alot less light output in terms of brightness.

I'm not reinstalling the pathetic OEM bulbs to do a comparison test, but trust me, the beam was much worse than the new ones. It did not shoot as far, and it was yellow, not white.

Don't worry no doubt from me. Like I said the picture might be throwing off is all. From looking at it again they do appear to have a good light distance, almost car headlight like. It's just hard to see the brightness. Downfall of night photography lol.
