WILL 265/70/17 TIRES/WHEELS FIT?

Hello, I have a 2004 GMC DENALI SIERRA 1500 EXT CAB that I just recently purchased new Michelin tires for, 265/70/17. I want to sell this vehicle but keep the tires and put them on my new ride, 2001 GMC Yukon XL 1500 4WD that has 265/70/16.

QUESTION; Can I simply swap the tires and wheels from the Denali to the Yukon?

Should work. 2005 and newer is a minimum of 17" wheels so being a 2004, the front brakes will clear the 16" wheels.

Just keep in mind the 265/70R17s are about an inch in diameter larger, It's not just wheel size. The 16s are approx 30.5" and the 17s are approx 31.5"
