Front Seat Movement

Has anyone with the 40/20/40 front seats noticed a slight movement when stopping or when you accelerate from a stop? Also noticed it when going over uneven ground. Seems to be movement in the seat track.

Mine is tight...  I just went out to the truck and gave the seat a test.  No slackness at all, not even slight.

There has been alot of talk lately here about the seat track being a problem for movement and noises.

 

I bet your track needs replaced or tightened up.

Yea my drivers seat has right much movement. Makes kinda a popping sound, thought the mounting bolts were loose but not. I can push on the backrest from the side  pushing towards the center of the truck and really get some movement.

Yep, my 99's driver side seat does this. The right side seems to move more than the left. I just purchased this truck and have not checked into it yet. When i look at it i'll let you know what I think.

My 92's drivers seat is almost a rocking chair...Lumbar support my a$$.

 

I have tightened every bolt I can find to no avail. A new seat costs 500 smackers, and wouldn't match the passenger bucket.

 

I guess I'll just sell it.
