17" to 20" rim upgrade

Hi - I recently purchased a 2013 Tahoe with the standard 265/70-17 wheel tire combo.

I just purchased some 275/55-20 GM oem wheels from someone that upgraded their 2014 Silverado. This wheel tire is an upgrade that was available for the Tahoe.

My question is do I need to do anything to the computer/speedo after installing the upgraded rims/tires?

thanks.

I think you'll be fine - your new tires are less than 1% larger in circumference than your stockers.

My 20's were slightly bigger difference from my OEM 18's, and I never had an issue. If I did, everyone that knows me knows that I'd be ranting about it on the forum .. :D

Oh yeah ... forgot about that stupid thing ...

I have the light glaring in my eye all winter long ....

I have the sensors in my winter wheels, but it's not worth the trouble to try and reprogram them for 4 months out of the year. One time I tried & the stupid thing locked up on me, requiring a trip to the dealer (under warranty, of course) - once they waved their $2,000 magic wand over the thing, all was well. Not taking that chance again.

I ought to remove the stupid things and hawk them on eBay for some Christmas money ...
