VLED LMZ Headlights

Its been awhile so I'm checking back to see if anyone has found any mods to fit LED bulbs on a Silverado LT (not Projector), the issue has been the caps are to short and wont fit with the bulbs,

Curious .. what do you mean by the bulb wont fot with the cap? I have some LED bulbs in and my dust cap went back on. The lights I have have a driver & wires with it, for the time being its all in the dust cap.

 

Lights work as DRLs as well but i just switch them off becuase i dont need them honestly and less heat in that enclosed area until i cut out an area in the dust cap to pull the wires thru and place them somewhere.

the fans on the back of the bulbs stick out too far and won't fit inside the oem dust caps.

Had a bulb go out last night, little under 2 years and around 1k hours is what it lasted. Not too enthused, now on to see what to replace these with
