Hello GM Truck Lovers,

my name is Frank and i live in germany.

i´m a chevyhead since about 25 years.Since then my 68´Camaro is a part of my live.

I had several GM Trucks in this years and now getting a 2014 GMC Sierra SLT All Terrain Crew Cab 4x4 5.3 in stealth gray met.

After reading a lot of threads about the problems and doggy 3.08 gears in this truck i´m a little worried about the new ride.

The Truck will be on the roads soon, first it has to pas the german TÜV regulations-

A Diablew inTune is allready ordered!

Pedal to the metall

Welcome!

You'll definitely want to remove the top speed limiter, so the Diablew inTune is the way to go.

When I lived in Germany (81-83) I didn't see a whole lot of pickups, esp. full sized, so you'll stand out.

Germany was great when I lived there. Good people, and, unlike the French, Germans KNOW how to cook!

Wonderful food!

Enjoy!

hi brothers,

after about 3 weeks of paperwork and checks with all the authoritys, my Sierra is ready for the road. It made the german TÜV regulation!

I´m very happy about that and now it´s time to get used too.

In between i had the chance to testdrive the Sierra with these 3.08 axles and it was not to bad for my way of driving.

I have done about 500 km with our Super plus 98 octane gasoline (93 octane US) in it and it was getting better every mile.

more info´s about my testruns in this forum are here in this thread: 3.08 vs. 3.42 gears

But today it was time to plug in the Diablew inTune and give him a hit. i´m really impressed what this little thing does to this heavy Truck..!

Very sporty pickup from standing stop and grispy shifts and nice throttle responce allready. wow..

we gonna drive the Sierra for about 150 miles with the Diablo Tune now and then Lewis from Diadlew will get a logfile of that thing to make a nice customtune for us.

For shure a shorter gear hits a lot more, but i think the tune will help as good as possible and me and my 3.08 gears will become good friends.

keep on truck´n...

Franky
