Got my tint done today, very happy with it. Also added a 30" lightbar behind the grille. Put some ironcross hd steps on too. Still have a lot i want to do yet.

how did you find the install?

I picked mine up last night, and I wasn't impressed that you need to use 1 of the self tapping screws on each side, because they wouldn't just include 2 more of those screw pocket clips.

im thinking of just going to pick up a couple more instead of using the self tappers.

I didnt have to use the self tappers. Instructions sucked. It pretty easy to figure out though.

what did you do for the 4th mount on each side then? how did you attach the upper part of the mount?

there isnt any factory threaded holes to attach to.

I only used 3 of them. Is yours a double cab?

They seem pretty sturdy. I had to use 3 anyways because they sent 3 driver side and 5 passenger. So i just went with the 3 since all other steps only use 3.

Just watch the seat belts easy to hit the glass and chip the tint in these trucks.
