Mirrors with turn signals

Okay ever since I had my Z71 Tahoe with the turn signals in the mirrors I have loved them and find them to be a nice safety feature. My questions is I have the mirrors that don't have the turn signals but have power adjust and heat. What would it take to add the turn signals? just plug and play with new mirrors that have them? or do I have to run a wire? If so which wire and where to?

It's not that easy. Some other members will chime in as I don't remember the details.

You will have to run a wire from your front or rear turn signals to the TS connector in each mirror. Not that big of a deal. If you don't want to do it, take it to a good car stereo shop.

I just bought the GM towing mirrors for my 2014 Sierra SLE with the turn signals. My truck only has power adj, and heat want to add the signals. looks like i have to buy replacement door harness both doors and a new power mirror switch. Have no idea how to find part numbers for the correct harnesses. Dealer had no idea.

you don'T need the harness if you're handy

just buy the small pins and mini caoutchouc and some wire then add it to the harness

you can find everything at your dealer, and if the job is done carefully it will look OEM and for sure you will save many $$$
