What size leveling kit

Ive looked through the whole level thread. Found alot of good info there. Is it accurate to measure the fenders to find out the difference between front and back? Front is 36.5" and the back is 39 7/8". Measured from ground to the line in the sierra fender flare.

Yeah that will work, just make sure you keep the measuring tape centered over the wheel hub. A more accurate way to compare is to actually measure from the center of the hub to the fender. That way regardless of tire size you'll have a reference point for later on how much lift you achieved/require regardless of tire size.

 

Your measurements sound like a stock height sierra crew cab. I'm running a 2.5" level with stock rear blocks and 33's. I am sitting around 39.75 up front and 40" out back.

I was wanting to get a 2", but im not sure. All the pictures that ive seen in the level thread seem like theres no noticeable difference between the two.

From my experience and research, if you want to keep a little bit of rake for towing and don't like the "nose high" look... Either go with a 2" front level and leave the stock rear blocks or 2.5" front level and swap the rear blocks for an additional inch in the rear.

My opinion is to go with the Rough Country full 2.5" kit, its only $150 and comes with everything you'll need. You can use just the bottom spacer for 2" or add the top for an extra 0.5" up front, and you'll have the rear blocks if you decide on using them.

That's the easiest way to measure it, you can use a 4' level as well, but I'm sure you're within ¼ (.25) of an inch. I did a RC 3½" kit with 305/55/20, and am wanting to take it off, and do an either 4, or 6 lift now. I don't like the way she hits over speed bumps, and have minor rubbing from time to time.
