lifted upper control arms (2007NNBS)

I have a 3" level on mine and when the suspension is loaded(truck on the ground with weight on suspension) it just barely misses it but with suspension unloaded( truck in the air no weight on suspension ) it touches. I haven't used those arms but by looking and studying them a little the only thing it does is change the position of the ball joint so that there isn't any strain on it such as an extreme angle, if you want to get the arm off the stop you need to do at least a 4" with a "subframe". IMO

So yours is pretty much the same? I guess if it's normal I won't screw with it, just seems weird is all. My buddys F150 is leveled and his kit was easier to install and the front suspension isn't nearly as compromised... no idea why.

On the ford's the control arm hits the spring before it hits the bump stops. I've put numerous leveling kits in both and once they're on the ground all is good. You definitely lose some suspension travel, but I've never seen one hit the bump stops with the tires on the ground.

It's not the bump stops ( jounce bumpers)that is for LCA, it's the UCA that is is sitting on its stop bracket ( not a jounce bumper )on his truck

Ya mine is the same way, when you level these trucks you are pushing the suspension down to raise the frame essentially.

Right I figured that much, I just wanted to be positive I'm not gonna mess something expensive up lol but if it's normal then cool, thanks for the input I appreciate it
