Restoring my 97 sierra extended cab but I'm looking to convert it into power windows, door locks, and an electric cooling fan...would appreciate any help.

anyone??? I heard autoloc is bad...heard electric life is a pretty good company... and the only cooling fan company I've heard about is spal...can anyone please share their experiences with any companies you've dealt with? would appreciate any advice thanks!

Hope you find what your looking for. Keep us posted. I have a 98 and everyone tells me to trade it in. I tell them I love the truck so it's not happening. Definitely great trucks.

I seriously considered electric fans for my 97 but just kept the mechanical in the end. The mpg increase wasn't enough for me to switch and my A/C blows cold enough through town.

 

Fun fact - HD diesel trucks still use mechanical fan instead of electric.

 

As far as converting to electric power windows, locks, etc. You could get all the parts from a junkyard truck, suburban, Tahoe, etc. OEM > aftermarket.
