2500s built after aug 14th

Why are dealers advertising 2500s "built after aug 14th" What changed with these trucks from the ones built before that date???

Standard body colored door handles on LT trim, the new versions of the towing mirrors (two of them, one black with the front clearance lamp and the rear facing cargo lamps in the mirrors, the other is chrome and power folding, with the lights) and the cargo lights can turn on in Park, Reverse and Neutral (before it was park and neutral).

 

They also added standard body colored body side moldings on LT, two new 18 inch wheels (one Chevy one GMC) and a couple new 20" wheels. Also, 8 inch radio with and without nav is available on regular cab (4 inch only before), leather is available on regular cab, Onstar with WiFi, and three new colors on HD. Rainforest Green Metallic, Deep Ocean Blue Metallic and Slate Gray Metallic.

 

Also, HD radio is gone, G80 is standard on all trims, 4x2 and 4x4, and they have those Duralife brake rotors.

Also called 2015.5 and 2015i. Wheel and mirror upgrades are the highlights and they were much needed!
