Nice job on the resto. I bought an 02 4x4 sr5 access cab tundra with 296k miles on it from my dad. It needed shocks and tires and the interior was pretty bad. He used it for the same thing your dad did; construction. Not bad for a $2500 truck. Everything works and had no idiot lights on in the dash. I put new shocks, tires, a dis module, and fan clutch on it in the 3 years I had it. Now its at 305k and I sold it back to my dad for $3000 for a down payment on my truck. Sorry for the hijack; just thought I'd share.

I bought mine from rockauto and it was very cheap iir, maybe around $30-40? I bought the later version with the pleather material instead of cloth too.

Under went a converterectomy today. 1 side blew out the tail pipe and the other was about 25% clogged, cracked, and rattling. Already seen an increase in performance, better idle, better mpg, and the random misfire seems to have gone away. I'll keep an eye on that for now. Before it was misfiring every time I idled for any length of time, now it's only thrown a PO300 once. Happy so far. Will update after my 250 mile round trip this evening.

Well now a new radiator is in the works. It cracked a few hours ago

Does yours have the 28 or 34" version? If it has the former you can upgrade to the 34" without any fitment issues.

Bought another 28" just a few minutes ago. Didn't even dawn on me to get the bigger one

Nah just humid. About 210 degrees is as hot as my engine and transmission ever get
