Airbag Gauge Mounting

Hey guys, I've been searching but there's already a ton of new info on hear since looking in last fall hard. I just signed papers and am picking up my new '15 All Terrain 6.2 this coming weekend. I was curious if anyone has installed airbags on their trucks yet. I am pulling my air bag (suspension helper) kit off my Duramax and am going to see if it is adaptable to my new truck. I only had an hour with the truck and was so amazed at all the bells and whistles and forgot to look it over for a good mounting location for my 2 1/16" gauge to control my bags. Has anyone put anything like this in these trucks yet? I have the center console.

This thing is so sweet inside, what a step up from my 05 SLE duramax haha.

I just installed bags on my all terrain I went with airlift and the airlift one controller. install was a piece of cake and the controller / display is on my sunvisor. since its wireless you can throw it in a glove box.

problem solved!

I have the Firestone Air Ride, my gauges are down by the E brake.

How was the install and where did you put the compressor? I'm planning to get this same set up after I get my lift, rims, and tires (if I can ever decide on what height lift I want haha)

I mounted it right above the spare tire on the back side of the brace that the tire rests against. passenger side.

Heard some reviews of the compressor not being able to hold up to water much so people were putting it in the bed of trucks or some have even put them in the cab under rear seat. Do you see putting it by the spare being a problem in the long run?

Well it would be impossible for road debris to hit any part of it directly and if there was a way to attach a filter over the entire thing I would think it would be fairly easy to keep the dust out. I would probably recommend you never air it up while on a dirt road or while driving in the rain. Just to be safe. Also I think a replacement is about 60 bucks, big deal! I also located the spare Schrader valve easily accessible at the rear bumper hitch area with a wire tie to hold it in place and did not drill a hole. Worse case have to stop at a filling station to add air. Without a compressor it would self regulate to the preset air level anyway

Thanks Bass. I plan to let the shop put these in that is doing my lift (I'll probably get it all done at the same time so I'll just let them put in the bags. No sense in me doing it since they'll be working in the same area anyway) and I'll give them all this info and tell them it's how I want it done [emoji106]
