The 5.3 isn't bad on power but who wouldn't want more? Yet to spend my tax money and I need the most bang for my buck. I see talk of cams but I'm not to sharp on things under the hood and really am pretty clueless. Any info is appreciated!

How about gears for those 35s? Tune won't help too much IMO, without the proper gear ratio.

I actually have no clue what gears I have. How can I check?

I have GU6. So are these good gears for 35s?

Or 4:56. There are countless threads on here about regearing

I was saying 4.10 because that would be equivalent to stock tires with 3.42's but IMO I would also get 4.56's

I suggested 4:56 for a little more go power but you are correct

4.56 for sure. 4.10 is correct based on the tire diameter. It doesn't take into account the added weight, rolling and wind resistance. After that's done, a tune will be required to correct the speedo and help open things up. I'm not a believer in exhaust and intakes, despite having owned them. At least not on lifted rigs with no other real performance goodies.

Tune, CAI, headers, and under drive pulley. Should give you an honest 40rwhp increase.
