All:

I just received my new High Country Grill and completed the swap today. All in all it took about an hour to complete and it was very simple. It is much easier to remove the grill and bumper cap in one piece and then separate them when they are on a bench.

Here are some pics before and after.

I plan to sell my like new LTZ grill including the LTZ emblem. PM me if interested, I have the box and materials from the new grill so I can ship it anywhere.

Thanks,

Fred

Do you happen to have a part number for the High Country grille?

Thanks,

Fred

I think the High Country Grille is the Best looking one. That was the 2nd or 3rd mod i did to my truck was to get that ugly ass honeycomb out.

I did the same thing to mine a year ago or so. I dug out the invoice so I could send you the part number. It's 23473702. This the new part number. When I got mine it was 23173538. No idea why they changed part numbers. Anyhow, be sure and tell them you don't want the emblem (unless you do)...more money. When I went to pick it up it had a new emblem with it so I told them to take it off the bill because I had one :). Good luck selling the stock one. I tried selling mine on Craig's list locally (because I didn't want to mess with shipping it) for $200 and kept lowering the price until it was so cheap that I decided to just keep it!! It's now in my "parts bin" in my attic.

That looks great! How much was the new grille if you don't mind me asking?

Looks really good. Beats the honey comb for sure. It was one of the few things I disliked about my '14 LTZ.

The HC grill does indeed look nice but I like the honeycomb grill also.

If you like the honeycomb would you care to trade for a "like new" LTZ chrome honeycomb grille off a 2015 LTZ?
