I had a set of Ionic Railway, Black, on my '10-1500, and really likes them. Only metal to rust was the brackets, which I would have sprayed with Line X if I got another set. http://ionicautomotive.com/ionic-railway-running-boards/

 

Only pic of them on the truck. With the WeatherTech mud flaps they blocked 99% of the garbage being thrown off the front tires.

 

I have thought about swapping out my factory chrome on my '13 for a set. Just hard after the paying for the factory ones.

 

I know it is a last gen truck, but hope it helps!

 

I liked the look of these, close to OEM and the price was right.

 

Pulled the trigger & ordered black ones, also got some OEM mud flaps while at it & just got my spray-in bedliner done... this truck is done.

Installed these

I love the welded end caps instead of the plastic caps on most models.

Has anyone done Line-x on their factory chrome set? I'm wondering how that would look.

Post some pics up when you get them installed. Also, as I mentioned, maybe look into having the brackets sprayed with Line X (or DIY spray can bed liner/ undercoating) or maybe buy some 3M clear tape to help protect them from road debris.

I haven't had any complaints on mine, but I'm sure if you're a tall person that it would cause a problem.
