Im looking for new Side Steps & figure I'd start a show-it-all thread. Show us what you got, include manufacturer name & product feedback if possible.

 

My truck came with some aftermarket chrome side steps that seem to already be rusting, they also seem to store a lot of water inside them that slowly drips out at night in the garage. Im not really a chrome guy to begin with, thinking something black & clean would look a lot nicer.

I have the GM ones, black. They help a ton for those is you with kids.

I think they were like $550. Check your local Craigslist though, I've seen 2 take off sets for $250 since I bought mine.

I didn't research before adding them to my truck at purchase. I should have and bought them used on CL.

Im out in the boonies, not much on craigslist here, there has to be something that looks like OEM but with the aftermarket price tag. I'll start researching this week after I get the spray in bed liner. thx

I had a set of Ionic Railway, Black, on my '10-1500, and really likes them. Only metal to rust was the brackets, which I would have sprayed with Line X if I got another set. http://ionicautomotive.com/ionic-railway-running-boards/

 

Only pic of them on the truck. With the WeatherTech mud flaps they blocked 99% of the garbage being thrown off the front tires.

I have thought about swapping out my factory chrome on my '13 for a set. Just hard after the paying for the factory ones.

 

I know it is a last gen truck, but hope it helps!

Love my N-fabs. They're way more sturdy than then Weston 3" tube steps I had on my old truck. The powdercoat is also very durable. I've smacked the bottom of the steps on a concrete curb and didn't do much from what I could feel. They're good protection for the rocker panels also.
