Charging Trailer Batteries from 2015 Silverado

On my 2010 and 2013 2500HD I had to connect a jumper wire under the hood to power the 7-pin so I could charge the batteries on my trailer while I pull it. I have found no such information about my new 15 1500. What is required to get my new 1500 to charge my trailer batteries via the 7-pin?

Take a multimeter and see if there is power coming in on that 7th pin. Try key on and key off. May need to run an additional wire to it though

Yep went to the dealer to buy the fuse that you used to have to add to the last model and we discovered it comes ready to go. It is about time a truck with a trailer package comes complete

8-9 mpg @ 60 depending on terrain and traffic. Pulling my daughter's cavalier on a uhaul auto transporter @ 75 I averaged 13.2 through the mountains of western Virginia.
