Own 2015 Suburban. Between 1st and 2nd shift causes the vehicle to boog down. Dealership stated " it's a software problem and no up has been put out by GM." Left morrow takes 7.5 mins. to defrost right side takes 2-2.5 mins. Dealership has no idea what the problem is. Anyone having these problems or advice???

So leave it with them and call district , they'll fix it after they get "the call" from district

You paid how much for that truck ???

I don't know anything about the "district". I live in Florida. Do you mean the factory?? It' was a brand new 2015 Sunurban. What I paid for it is not the concern. I just want it fixed. Thanks in advance.

District is the GM "office" in your area. There should be something in the owners manual about what to do when the dealer is not being helpful.

You are in Florida and have to use the defrost on the outside mirrors? I am in Canada and have only had to use mine once in 5 years, and that was mid December when it was actually cold. Given that the mirror itself has the metallic content to allow heat to build up, it should be a no brainer for the dealer to simply measure the impedance or resistance in the heated circuit in the glass itself. If I was the mechanic, I would measure and compare the two parts. Seems logical to me that they should be the same value.

We have a bad time with humidity here. It covers everything. I useing the defrost, we can see behind faster. As for thedealership, they used a heat gun to check the temp. It heats up to 118-120. They said that "tach would not have them replace them due to the temp." I offered them to wactch the vidieo that I had taken of the problem. No one including the SM wanted to watch. Even the tech that worked on my vehicle refused to look at it. Still don't know what to do. I'll try the distric office and see what they say. Thanks for your help.

Sounds like a dew problem. Never thought of that. Problem with dew in high humidity is that the air is already full of moisture and does not want anymore.

When they tested the temp did they check them both starting at 30 seconds to a minute for the first reading? You know that after 5 min you do not have an issue anymore. They need to test from the start.

I have found that driving will clear dew faster than just about anything in non-frost season.

I don't know how they came up with the results. I can ony guess. Anyway they refuse to even try a new mirror to see if it will make a difference. This is all I want them to do. I don't know if GM is aware of this.
