Exploding Rear End

My '94 K1500 had the original U-joints at 222k. Sold that truck at 266K with presumably the original rear.

'07 plus, it's a crapshoot ...

On that note, was maneuvering my flatbed trailer with my dad's '09 Duramax this morning, to load up my brother's DEAD '02 D-max. Stepped on the E-brake - CRACK! - right to the floor. Broken. WTF ...

They just can't build anything good anymore.

Is it true the dodge dakota and ford ranger have larger rear axles than us with the 8.6? I've heard from many people that they are stronger

Any stock rear end can break from abuse. The Ranger rear was an 8.8 that was also used in the cars. I have broken one of those with a 4 cyl.

Yes in the se way it was in the Thunderbird on 1-2, 2-3, and 3-4 while at 4000 RPM and pushing 15+ PSI. It is called growing up and not doing stupid things. And definitely not posting them online

The chirping issue was due to the fact that i had my shift pressure increased then i got the servo without tuning for it so it was an accident [emoji26]
