Boat launching

Gonna give some props, launching the boat is nice after releasing the brake and putting in drive, how it hold itself in place for 5/10 seconds, makes it really nice forget what the option is called but i like it

It is a great feature, hill start assist. Use it with hills but never thought about great it would be pulling up the boat ramp.

 

I think it is only 3 secs though, thought I read somewhere it use to be 1 sec than they changed it to 3. I think it could be a little longer

Ya not sure how long it is really. But long enough to say look at that, lol plus I've got around 10k at grade in a boat ramp the fact that it holds us great!

I love this feature. I know the new Porsches have the same thing called "HOLD" and it holds the vehicle until you press the gass. Thought the silverados had the same thing but shortly figured out it was only for about 3 seconds

For 2015, 'Hill Start Assist' hold time increased to 3 seconds (from 1.5 seconds)
