but adding 4 wires , and a small module isn't a hard work if you find someone to reprogram your bcm and key fob

I talked to Mac Haik Chevrolet in Houston (sem-local for me) and they said they can do it for $150 with GM parts. I'll report after I have it done.

Wow that's cheap. I paid them $350 a year ago to do my remote start

I'm not getting remote start and only one remote. NitroDasik, I called them based on your experience with them. My local dealer said it's not possible. We shall see.

After reading all the threads, here and online, i purchased a set of FOBs [49.00 on ebay] and went to the dealer. I was expecting a fast turn away, but ah , not so fast. after scanning the vehicle it was determined i didnt have the proper parts to install the key fobs. BUT he went and checked another option. Start by checking the hood latch , with the key turned on, pull the hood latch release, look for a light on the dash showing you the hood is unlatched, if you have this option, they CAN program remotes. if not, you will have to buy the kits from GM, it comes with new hood latch, a pair of FOBs and the most of all GM CODE to program the door locks and remote start. List price is 370.00 but cost was 275 plus tax. installed 298. out the door. I now have keyless remote, remote start, and down window options. in 2007 the WT could not be programmed at Chevrolet, they have wised up and allowed this to be done on even the barest boned WT with electric lock and window. I hope this helps 2016 wt 2500hd 4x4 6.0 gas auto transmission

I’m curious how people have made out. I’m looking to add the keyless entry as well to my wt 2500hd. It’d be nice to have the buttons for the doors.
