It will be my daily driver and that is why not fitting in my garage is not a deal breaker. Plus I plan to get remote start so the cold Minnesota winters won't bother me.

my insurance went up 28 dollars every six months going from 2015 2500HD to 2015 1500

also, if you are daily driving the truck does it really need to fit in a garage? i wouldn't want to leave any vehicle sitting outside for days or weeks but my daily and my wifes daily stay in the driveway. the garage is for the sunday fairweather drivers.

Garage is almost a must here in MN. No way I want to scrape windows with a -30 windchill.

Fair enough, I have to scrape a frozen light mist off my windshield three days a year or so. :-)

LOL, now that is not fair.

Go full size. I have an 03 frontier and I dont like the size of it. I am on here to learn more about the Sierra because I plan to buy one with in the next month.

Check out a Sierra, dollar for dollar IMO you get more for your money. To chime in on the garage, it was a must that my truck fit in my garage, when it's -15 in the morning outside it's nice to have the truck warm up quickly and not have to scrape the windows. Also in the great salty north vehicles seem to last longer without rust if kept inside.

I am not 100% sure that it won't fit but it is a single car garage and the wife normally gets it in the winter because...well, she's my wife. That is with my Jetta though. If it can fit, it will probably go in there. I am sceptical though because my father in laws 2004 f150 seemed to big to try. His is a long box extended cab though. Still I can't imagine the 2015 gm full size would be smaller than his f150, maybe a little shorter since I want a cc short box but not by much. It's the width of the truck and the fact that the garage is offset behind my house that is the issue. We will see, I am sure I can find a solution or just live with scraping my windows and buying a seasons pass to a car wash.
